“What did YOU find at the ReStore?”

A nationwide network of 72 building supply stores, called Habitat for Humanity ReStores, accept gently used or customer-returned building supply materials, which support local homebuilding projects and reduce the amount of waste that end up in the landfill.  

Because many of the items donated would have otherwise been thrown out. It’s a trove for treasure hunters.  It’s a paradise for the price-conscious and it’s Habitat for Humanity Thunder Bay’s single largest source of funding. Our ReStore profits pay for 100% of the overhead costs of operating the Habitat for Humanity Thunder Bay affiliate, so we can direct every dollar donated to our organization to home building.

At the ReStore you’ll find new and gently used renovation materials and supplies including doors, windows, lighting, kitchen and bathroom fixtures, plumbing and electrical accessories, even paint and drywall if the time is right.
 
Everything sold in the ReStores has been donated by companies and individuals helping us in our mission to eliminate poverty housing in Thunder Bay.  Thanks to them, we can sell everything for 40%  - 70 % off retail.

Our amazing variety of generous supporters are constantly sending us new inventory.  That means that every visit to the ReStore offers a unique opportunity to discover a fantastic deal, a one-of-a-kind gem or the missing item in your otherwise perfect design.

If you want to donate furniture we can only accept items that are not stained, ripped or torn and items have to be reasonably clean to accept.
